windows 10 Black Screen with cursor
possible fix
this can take a while to appear
CTRL SHIFT ESC - bring up task manager
file - run cmd(once opened regedit) or regedit (check the box to run as administrator
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
check the key shell - should be explorer.exe, if not change and reboot
if it is, unsure the fix yet, but typing explorer.exe in the cmd windows will get your desktop back
